Experimental Study Descriptions
Studies conducted to determine the environmental degradation and disposition of drugs are designed to include the typical parameters related to hydrolytic, photochemical and biological degradation. Biomimetic systems, such as chemical oxidants and cell cultures can also be utilized.
Method development and validation for drugs and their metabolites in blood, plasma and urine involving GC, HPLC, GC-MS, and LC-MS(MS). Clinical sample analysis. Metabolism and disposition in rodents (ADME) utilizing radiotracers (refer to rat section of Metabolism page). Total Organic Carbon (TOC) for water samples. |
