Study Director

Since 1987 PTRL West Inc has been a leading contract research organization providing services for registration of agrochemicals and pharmaceuticals in the areas of analytical chemistry, environmental fate and metabolism. We are seeking strong candidates for the position of  Study Director at our Hercules, CA facility. 

 

Requirements include expertise in organic analytical chemistry, quantitative analysis and problem solving, as well as familiarity with the relevant instrumentation and software. The candidate must also have strong communication skills and a proven ability to write technical reports. Familiarity with GLP/GMP is a plus. This position entails supervisory responsibilities. 

 

The qualified candidate must have as a minimum a bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry or related field with >5 years of relevant experience. Master's and PhD level scientists are encouraged to apply.

 

Primary responsibilities will be in analytical method development and validation, maximization of efficiency in sample analysis, study direction and report preparation.
