PTRL West is located in the San Francisco bay area, within 60 miles of the San Jose, Oakland and San Francisco International airports. PTRL West occupies 17,000  square feet of a 26,000 square-foot facility, situated in the Northshore Business Park in the city of Hercules. The building is owned by PTRL West's sister company, Arrow Investments, LLC.

PTRL West has nearly one hundred freezers for sample storage, including two large walk-in freezers with dual cooling systems. The facility is equipped with a standby generator to ensure that all freezers, incubators and warm rooms maintain their temperature even during power outages.

Audy Suvansin, the warehouse supervisor and compound control archivist at PTRL West, is trained and certified in shipping hazardous and radioactive materials under IATA, ICAO and Title 49 CFR. International shipments are handled through our customs broker:
